The Speech-Language Pathologist Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical and administrative operations of the Hingham Speech Department in collaboration with the Department Director. This role involves providing mentorship, guidance and performance evaluations to a team of SLP's and Clinical Fellows ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and driving program development in alignment with organizational goals.
Supervisor Responsibilities include:
- Providing high quality direct intervention utilizing a combination of strategies to maximize progress
- Developing, implement and maintain departmental policies and procedures in collaboration with upper management.
- Working as a collaborative team member to facilitate interdisciplinary communication and collaboration.
- Staying current with evolving standards of practice, research and technological advancement in the field of Speech-Language Pathology
- Serving as a clinical expert and representative of the department both internally and externally
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Massachusetts State Licensure
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred evaluating and treating pediatric/adolescent speech and language communication disorders
- Strong organizational, time management and administrative capabilities
- Supervisory experience preferred
