Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)
StartDate: ASAP
Available Shifts: 7 D
Pay Rate: $1972.00 - $2051.00
Located in the picturesque town of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, this travel SLP position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment serving K-5 students. Fairhaven is a charming coastal town boasting historical sites such as Fort Phoenix State Reservation and the Millicent Library while offering the warmth of a small-town community. It's a perfect blend of historical charm and scenic beauty, providing an enriching backdrop for both work and life.
Your responsibilities will include working individually with students to assess and treat speech and language disorders, collaborating with teachers and families, and implementing tailored education programs. The school facilities in Fairhaven are designed to support your teaching mission, with modern amenities that enhance your ability to deliver exceptional educational services.
The position operates Monday through Friday with weekly pay cycles. Keep in mind, that the traveler will not be compensated for school holidays or closures due to teacher workshops or inclement weather. Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
State License is Required to Start the Assignment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
