Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)

Available Shifts: 7 D
Pay Rate: $1972.00 - $2051.00
AMN Healthcare is partnering with a school district in Cusseta, Georgia that is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist to support students across grade levels. This role offers the opportunity to work in a tight-knit, rural community with a strong sense of purpose and connection, serving both local families and those affiliated with nearby Fort Moore (formerly Fort Benning).
Key Responsibilities
Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech and language needs.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with IDEA and district policies.
Provide direct and consultative therapy services across school settings.
Collaborate with general and special education staff to support inclusive practices.
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to Medicaid billing and compliance.
Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and community engagement.
Support transition planning and communication strategies for students with diverse needs.

Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
State License is Required to Start the Assignment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
