As part of our mission to pave success for students nationwide, Therapy Source is excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team and provide in-person therapy services to public school students Pre-K through 5th grade. This position is for the remainder of the current school year.
Speech-Language Pathologist Salary Range: $37-$50 per hour
Speech-Language Pathologist Position Details:
- Full-Time (5 days per week)
- Partner with an on-site CCC-SLP to share responsibilities for evaluations, IEP development, and direct therapy services
- Pre-K: Focus on early intervention, developmental delays, and play-based therapy to build foundational communication skills
- 3rdâ5th Grade: Address language disorders, articulation, fluency, and social-pragmatic communication as they relate to academic success and social integration
Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications:
- Valid Florida State Speech-Language Pathologist License
- School Certification in Florida
- Up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain them
- Proof of individual liability insurance or readiness to acquire it
Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities:
- Conducting evaluations and developing personalized goals for students requiring speech therapy
- Providing speech and language intervention services as outlined in students' Individual Education Programs (IEPs)
- Supporting students in achieving their personal, academic, and social communication goals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records
- Collaborating with educators and families to ensure holistic support for each student
