We’re seeking a talented, part time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based services team in the Kissimmee, FL area.
Professional License Requirements:
Applicants are required to have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered.
- ASHA recognized Masters or Doctorate degree from CAA approved program
- Active SLP or SLPA license or ability to obtain FL DOH license
What to expect from this role:
Experience working in schools or with children is a plus but not required.
- Implementing SLP therapy treatment for school-aged children with cognitive communication disorders, speech and/or language impairments or delays
- Serving as a member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team for students with speech and/or language concerns
- Maintain appropriate records through Invo’s proprietary software
- Coordinate with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students
- Ensuring all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
