Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)

Available Shifts: 9 D/N/E
Pay Rate: $1972.00 - $2051.00
AMN Healthcare is partnering with a school district in the beautiful San Luis Valley of the Colorado mountains (near Alamosa), to find a Speech Language Pathologists for the remainder of the 25/26 school year. You’ll have access to an abundance of outdoor activities. The awe-inspiring Great Sand Dunes National Park nearby provides unique hiking opportunities. Relax and unwind at local natural hot springs like Joyful Journey Hot Springs Spa or Valley View Hot Springs, each offering a tranquil oasis amidst breathtaking landscapes.
In addition, nearby mountain towns such as Alamosa, Creede, and South Fork provide cultural and recreational opportunities within a short drive. These towns are perfect for exploring, with their rich history and welcoming communities.
The district is recognized for its collaborative and supportive work environment, with manageable caseloads allowing you to provide focused care to students. Your role will involve evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. You will develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with teachers and families to maximize student success.

Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Experience: New Grad Accepted,CF SLP - Clinical Fellowship Accepted
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Must have Colorado Department of Education Special Services Provider License CDE SSP
Clinical Fellows Encouraged to Apply
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
