This travel SLP role is within an engaging and supportive environment, providing direct speech services across diverse student populations. The typical workweek is Monday through Friday, aligning with school operational hours, totaling 37.5 hours weekly. As an SLP, you will manage a case load primarily consisting of K-5, but also extending to the 9-12 age range, ensuring every student receives attentive and personalized support. The collaborative setting encourages professional growth and fosters a sense of accomplishment while being immersed in Berkeley’s dynamic lifestyle and community.

Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
State License is Required to Start the Assignment



Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
