AMN Healthcare is partnering with a school district in Mesa, Arizona to find an in-person Speech Language Pathologist to cover a FMLA leave from mid January to mid March. The role of a Speech Language Pathologist involves evaluating and treating communication disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and parents. This position will be at an elementary school that houses another full-time SLP that can help with onboarding and training.

Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Licenses: SLP-AZ

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
State SLP License in State of Residence
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)



Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
