The purpose of this course is to discuss phonological assessment and intervention for bilingual children with highly unintelligible speech. Topics will include an overview of assessment modifications and recommendations to account for dialects, selecting Spanish and English phonological remediation targets, and implementing a bilingual phonological remediation approach, with particular emphasis on intervention strategies.
