The "out of the box" thinking and non-traditional speech-language therapy approach to support non-SpEd students is very interesting, but I don't think most public school districts are in a position to extend SLP services in this way. Oftentimes, the high school SLP is pulled to the elementary schools to assist with high elementary caseloads.

I enjoyed this course and came out with some practical ideas to support older students as a team, which is exactly what I needed! My only note was that for a few comments for the case study- there may be some extra nuance that I might be missed- e.g. social settings being uncomfortable and pushing through was positive- I think that could be received in the wrong way as that we should encourage masking in uncomfortable scenarios.
