I like that she had the number of videos included and that they were relevant to the points that she was making. My confidence (or lack thereof) is not related to her presentation but rather to my lack of experience.

I love the chart of FEDC levels and the criteria to move to the next level. The videos showing that criteria in a live session were very helpful. As an SLP I always feel like I'm not achieving enough if the child isn't speaking or making letter sounds, but this made me realize that mouth sounds are enough and can be considered a success for that level.

I am a speech language pathologist and work in the school setting. I have my first evaluation for a student with SM and this training was SO insightful. I think it is still widely believe that SLP's "shouldn't" or "can't" qualify these children for therapy and I definitely see why we should. Thank you so much!

This instructor is very clear with information being presented, and the videos of actual treatment help with seeing the strategies being implemented. It's also helpful to hear about ideas to avoid (external rewards) as well as the reasoning for that. I'm a school SLP and I don't have many co-treatment situations, so it was very helpful to have the input about incorporating sensorimotor.
