I really appreciated the overview of the various devices for respiratory function training, not just the EMST and IMST devices, because many times patients do already have some form of respiratory device at home. Having some working knowledge of the function and purpose of these various devices helps me to serve my clients by giving me some insight into possible pre-existing respiratory issues that may not have come to light during evaluation.

I am very disappointed that there were few images shown, no demonstrations and that the presenter referred to doctors only as "he." The presenter mentioned that she didn't have "permission" to show devices, but that they are available on company websites, Amazon and youtube, which means she has access to these public domain images. Another alternative is that the presenter could also purchase the devices to demonstrate. This instruction could be so much more useful.
