It was a wonderful review of important IEP information, and learning what to prioritize is important. It's a legal document but so much is subjective in a meeting with parents, advocates, teachers, etc. This course increased my confidence in this area.

As a seasoned SLP working in a district in California, with its litigious environment and lots of failsafe built into our IEP software, she still gave me some great, pertinent advice, especially with regard to communication with administration. When I’m doing a PLAAFP and writing IEPs I typically feel rushed and don’t always have a set order. The information provided was so organized that it helped organized my brain and how I will approach writing IEPs in the future. Calm and collected (because I usually have all the info needed) vs frazzled and unorganized.
