This course will discuss the provision of evidence-based language therapy services via telepractice to children from birth through high school. A brief overview of the current literature will be provided, along with a more in-depth look at using evidence-based practices in a telepractice setting. This course is presented in partnership with the American Board of Child Language and Language Disorders (ABCLLD).

Melissa Jakubowitz owns əLiveNow which is developing a telepractice platform, provides telepractice services and consulting to schools and private practices. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Child Language. She was the VP of Clinical Services at a large telepractice company, leading the clinical team. In addition, she owned a successful multi-office private practice. Ms. Jakubowitz was ASHA Convention C0-Chair in 2018 and currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Special Interest Group Coordinators (BSIBC).
