Inaccurate diagnoses of autism are prevalent due to symptoms that are shared with other disorders. This course will identify the differential diagnostic indicators to help clinicians know when a child presents with autism.

Tina K. Veale, PhD, CCC-SLP is an academic and clinical educator at Minnesota State University - Moorhead. Dr. Veale teaches courses in neuroscience, diagnostics, child language, autism spectrum and social communication disorders. In clinical practice, she is a recognized expert in assessing and treating pediatric speech and language disorders of all types. She works with individuals with autism spectrum disorders of all ages.
