I learned so much from this course. Jessica Walker demonstrated how SLPs, through their scope of practice as well as working in collaboration with mental health professionals, can support students with their mental health. I also loved learning about dialectics and DBT-A. She is a dynamic speaker and had a great deal of important information to share. So nice of her to create posters and pass them on for others to use.

This was the best course I've taken in the last several years. I liked how it discussed the intersection and comparison of SLP roles with others who support student with social-emotional concerns. What I learned in this course will make me a stronger team member at my school and advocate for my students. I am grateful.

This is one of the best courses that I have taken in a long time. Our profession can tap into so many areas and a lot of times the boundaries become blurred. This course did an exceptional job of defining the SLPs role in the ongoing mental health crisis being seen among our youth. There were so many great explanations and ideas presented here.
