The presenter was extremely knowledgeable on the subject and provided wonderful descriptions for each IDDSI level to help clinicians better determine if their patients are on the right diet and explain information to patients, family, caregivers, nurses, etc.

Parts of the course were interesting and practical. There were also phases that were kinda boring, when interest tended to wane. While I do not believe, nor ever have, that dysphasia is a speech-language (communication) disorder, I need this information. Decades ago it should have been assigned to the correct domain, occupational therap, rather than abnormal communication, which is served by SLP's. It's an interesting topic, but does not truly apply to speech and language.

The descriptions and details for each of the IDDSI levels were fantastic. I also valued hearing the personalized stories with the difficulties of using the NDD and why IDDSI is so important for our clients.

Too much information at once. Maybe simplify it and make it more realistic. The reality of sending food back to the kitchen or drawing pictures of "bite sized" for the chef, would quickly get me fired in any SNF. They honestly don't tolerate all the ideas given.

The question about maximum bite size for pediatrics is unclear because it does not give diet order with it.. slides state for minced moist max size is 8mm, for regular there are no bite size restrictions for pedi or adults. Just worth mentioning. The question is unclear about the reason for not using viscosity also

This was such a great course. I'm new to the world of feeding disorders aside from a practicum in a SNF while in my graduate program when we used NDD. This could almost be a beginner course since it's just so so thorough. Really loved learning about this. Presenter was incredible-- the organization was unmatched and there is just so much information in here. Take this course if you work in the feeding realm!

And best of all, she had a pleasant presentation to listen to—you could tell she knew her topic and enjoyed what she did.

It would have been nice if the speaker had presented physical examples of each texture/level during the presentation. She is very descriptive, but sometimes you just can't substitute words for physical examples. If one were training on site, they would provide physical examples rather than just solely describe. Otherwise it was a great course.
