Very informative presentation on velopharyngeal disorders that lead to speech and resonance disorders. The presenter was very knowledgeable and experienced in this area and I appreciated her personal story at the very beginning of the presentation. All the videos were very helpful in providing visual support for the information presented, especially to distinguish the various types/variations of nasality.

As a school SLP, this is not an area of our field that I encounter often, however, I have a student that I recently recommended pediatrician, then ENT evaluation because I heard nasal emission on all sounds. He was seen by an ENT who determined that he might have a submucosal cleft and recommended speech therapy. This presentation has given me a direction for further evaluation.

This is the standard by which all presenters on any topic should be held when determining the objective worth of an online or any CEU. There is more information contained in this 1.5 hour video than in the course I took in grad school, and far exceeds the low value, CEU mill offerings of competitors.

I took part one and two and found that this presenter was amazing with her demonstrations. I had to go back and review this lecture, prior to taking the exam; because, it had a lot of valuable information that I wanted to assimilate into what information I already knew. It was well worth my time to take these courses, even with significant voice evaluation/therapy experience.
