Tom is a speech-language pathologist and PhD candidate with 13 years of clinical experience, including over a decade in acute care hospitals serving adult populations. He currently chairs the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ISHA) Evidence-Based Practice Committee. His professional interests focus on fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES), adult dysphagia, and cognitive-communication disorders in individuals with neurogenic and cardiac conditions.
