Great clear definitions, examples and easy to understand language that just made sense. The presenter introduced a lot of great studies- showed data and interpreted information and guided the audience to think about and develop their own judgement of the study and information presented. Very clear, organized, and well presented!!

I would like to hear more information or presenter's advice on what to do when we (as SLPs) have to weigh hospice vs no intervention in an actively dying pt, and what liability, we as SLPs, have. I work in an SNF and see many incidences where nurses/MDs do not offer hospice care, and the pt lays in bed with no intervention such as IV or G tube presence or Oral nutrition. At that point, my hands are tied. It seems that this is inhumane, but what other options do I have to voice to the medical staff? Am I liable for anything at that point?
