My son suffered a concussion about a year and a half ago and has been aphonic ever since. I’m excited to try some of these new exercises with him to see if we can get improved airflow, decreased hyperfunction and maybe even a whisper or vowel sound!

Very enthusiastic/engaged presenter. However, if these are evidence based, best practices exercises/techniques, shouldn’t you provide research references where they work for more patients than your own? Slide with 3 names (Stemple, etc.) & few articles in references seem an afterthought. Becomes critical for SLPs with less knowledge/experience who get asked the "why” behind the exercises by school-based, academic, clinical, healthcare colleagues, patients and families. Just a thought.

This was a very nice presentation, she is very fun and informative. I really enjoyed watching and listening to her presentation. I am sure her clients really enjoy working with her as she makes therapy so fun. Of all the voice related sessions I've attended, the ones presented by Lauren Fay have been the best! Knowledgeable in her field, with a practical approach that focuses function. I feel like this training actually was a great start at demystify voice therapy for me! I noticed though that there isn't a transcript available yet - would be great to be able to go back to some of her explanations / descriptions of the techniques. Hopefully there will be a transcript when the recording goes up.
