Marva Mount provided multiple ways to communicate effectively not just in the professional environment but personally as well. The definitions for the terms used in the presentation were useful. Based on the Communication Styles – DiSC Personality Assessment, I have a clearer understanding of my own communication style as well as that of a few colleagues.

Such a great course! I have several "old school" co-workers who are very hard to collaborate with and are very much set in their ways and have to be "right" all of the time. Trying some of these strategies may help me meet them where they are and still be able to provide therapy services to my students in the most efficient way possible.
