This course directly relates to a client of mine in which this course assisted in identifying the differences in ADHD and CDS. I was not familiar with CDS prior to this course and it helped me differentiate some of the challenges my student is facing that differ from other ADHD cases.

This course was excellent because it clearly differentiated Cognitive Disengagement Syndrome from ADHD, providing practical strategies tailored to each. It offered research-based insights on brain networks, behavior patterns, and effective classroom interventions, enhancing understanding and support for students with attention-related challenges.

I have a 30+ year old adult daughter who has finally figured out on her own that she has had "inattentive ADD" throughout her life. We were never aware of this as a possible diagnosis while she was a child, however looking back over her educational experience, it seems to exactly fit what she has dealt with during her life. Thank you for this excellent presentation of emerging information and distinction of CDS which will benefit many children!

I actually think one of my adult children may have CDS rather than extremely mild autism. I would be interested to see if there is research showing a link between the 2, crossover and or misdiagnosis of mild autism with CDS given the external symptomatology, over diagnosis of autism and newness of the CDS diagnosis.

Excellent webinar! The presenter was extremely personable and spoke in a manner that was easy to follow and visualize what she was describing. I especially liked that she is an OT, not an SLP, and was able to provide a different type of 'twist' to the information that she had. I feel that this topic is very practical in today's day and age, both on a professional and personable level. I very much enjoyed this presentation. Oh, and it immensely helped that she reviewed the exam questions!
