I have been treating VCD for several years and just recently have been getting difficult coughing cases that responded to Relaxed Throat Breathing only while having client practice while walking outside of clinic, only to have the cough return when they came back in the clinic setting.

It shows clearly the importance of the SLP's role in helping with the chronic cough. The concepts behind the four strategies can be applied to most areas of CSD. As to the strategies, I have had a mild chronic cough for 18 months since having COVID-19. It improved after taking Part 1. I began to manage it exceptionally well after taking Part 2.
