I particularly liked the sequence of topic expansion and the way each topic is introduced, without major disruption keeping our thought process intact. The easy language and avoidance of overuse of complicated meficsl terminology also help to make this subject a clear winner and I would recommend it to anyone who is unclear about trachs and vents. The way the author describes mechanical ventilation and trach is simply wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed every paragraph of this subjec .

I really appreciated the presenter's use of examples throughout and "thinking out loud" through their clinical decision making process. I would have appreciated more visuals throughout showing how cuffs look in the pharynx, different cuff types, the single versus the double cannulas, etc. I was able to find some of my own through google images but more visual examples would have helped. I guess I also would have liked more clarity re: how pts on mechanical ventilation are able to swallow safely.
