Important Information About Reports to ASHA Registry

You must verify that your account information at SpeechPathology.com is up-to-date and indicate your reporting preferences prior to completing a CE test to ensure that your CEU credits are reported properly to the ASHA CE registry. If your account is not up-to-date, this would result either in failure of SpeechPathology.com to report your CEUs, or reporting of inaccurate information to the ASHA CE Registry. Please see below for the required user information.

Remember that this reporting feature is only required if you are a member of the ASHA registry and would like that registry to maintain a record of your CEU courses. If you maintain your own CEU records or report them manually, you may print out the CE Verification forms from your SpeechPathology.com transcript as proof of CEU course completion.

Why have my completed courses not been sent to the ASHA registry?

There is an approximate 30 to 60 day delay between when a course is completed and when a course is reported by SpeechPathology.com to the ASHA CE registry, depending on the type of course, and the date it was completed.

For Live events, please allow 45 days following the event before contacting the SP CE Administrator.

For Self-Study activities (text-based courses, recorded courses, and podcasts), please allow 45 days following the end of the calendar month during which the course was completed before contacting the SP CE Administrator.

Why is my course shown as reported by SP, but it is not on the ASHA registry?

SpeechPathology.com cannot verify information posted on your ASHA registry transcript. ASHA requires up to 4 weeks, or more during high volume periods, to process our reports once received. You can verify that your coursework was reported to the ASHA registry by contacting ASHA four to six weeks after the reporting date listed on your SpeechPathology.com transcript for a given course. If the ASHA registry indicates they have not received a reported course from SpeechPathology.com, please contact the SP CE Administrator.

What do I have to do to ensure that my courses are reported to the ASHA registry?

  • You must complete the course with a passing grade of 80% or better.

  • Verify that your ASHA reporting preference is correct. On your transcript, where it says “Will submit CE Details to ASHA” or “Will not submit CE Details to ASHA,” click on “change” to update your preference.  This preference must be accurately updated for each course you want reported.  After reporting has taken place for an activity, this option will no longer be available, and you may not be able to add your completed coursework to the ASHA CE Registry.  Contact SpeechPathology.com for instructions on how to proceed.
