It is hard to think about feasible application of these concepts in terms of our current workload in the schools, especially as you get to middle and high school where there isn't a primary gen ed teacher. The idea of doing this process to write goals and have consistent communication with every teacher of every student on your caseload seems unrealistic.

I found it difficult to follow as some slides were not addressed thoroughly enough. I wanted more examples to better understand how to use the chunking grid, Bloom's Wheel, etc. to pace and sequence with a regular education teacher. Less time could be spent on the history of CCSS and more on specifics about collaboration.

More of the content that they expanded upon for further explanation of topics on the slide was verbal, so the handouts as slides are not as useful for later review. Also, the information on types of Socratic Questions and how to use them and the Bloom's Wheel could have been clarified with more concrete examples during the course rather than just turning the audience to the reference handout.

It had very clear and applicable information. I could tell that they were using the concepts they taught in their own development of the presentation and the following assessment. They practiced what they preached. They gave some very clear info. And very vClear examples with practical real life hints on how to begin the process of collaboration. They also utilized visual ideas to increase the presentations interest level. Excellent!

The presentation style seemed a bit wooden and scripted. The presenters sounded unnatural when speaking, and it would have been nice for them present in a more naturalistic way, especially since they are presenting as experts in this area. When one was asked a question during the Q & A portion, the other could be heard "telling the other what to say as a response" in the background. I felt like these were questions they both should have been able to answer confidently, particularly because most of the questions were based on concepts discussed during their presentation. The information provided was great, though, with the exception of the suggestion of plugging students' names into CC standards to use as goals (which, in my opinion, is not best practice).

I needed more about implementing CCS into IEP goals. Bloom is interesting but needed more (including examples) on utilizing the information. Our goals are supposed to be on skills PRECEDING grade level curriculum (in order for a student to have a disability, they must be working on earlier skills than the rest of the class). During the portion of the lecture on goal writing, it was explained to take a standard and insert the student's name. We are unable to do this.
