Diane J German, PhD

Diane German is a Professor Emeritus at National-Louis University, Chicago, Illinois. She has been selected as a fellow of the International Academy for Research in Learning Disabilities and a fellow of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She has also received Honors of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She has conducted research in Word Finding over the past 37 years, published many articles, presented many technical papers, and conducted numerous state, national, and international seminars in the area of Word Finding. She is the author of the standard in Word Finding assessment: the Test of Word Finding, Third Edition (TWF-3), the Test of Adolescent/Adult Word Finding, Second Edition (TAWF-2), and the Test of Word Finding in Discourse (TWFD).  Further, she has authored the  Word Finding Intervention Program, Third Edition (WFIP-3), a book that provides comprehensive intervention procedures in Word Finding.
