Helpful information about relevant public legislation on this subject can be obtained from many sources, though I am not familiar with a website specifically targeting the ''history of speech-language assessment.'' A good internet search engine can be helpful. A good website to visit initially is a service of the U.S. Government Printing Office: https://www.gpoaccess.gov/plaws/index.html. At this site, you can access the text of public laws by name and number. A couple of websites specifically devoted to discussion of relevant public laws such as 94-142 include: https://asclepius.com/angel/special.html and https://www.scn.org/~bk269/94-142.html.
