About the company

We are a progressive, innovative practice, delivering evidenced-based intervention programs, and as such we are looking for a speech-language pathologist with strong business acumen to lead the Clinic and undertake mentorship of Students requiring Prac Placements.
This role will see you work closely with the Managing Director to drive a new speech therapy service within our Clinic and work collaboratively within the current team allowing us to offer speech therapy as a separate service as well as offer an in-house multi-disciplinary approach to our programs.
We are seeking a leader who is wanting to contribute professionally to ensure our Kiddos get the services they need.
This role is really varied and your typical would include some of the following on any given day….
Assessing children using various assessment tools
Create individualized outcome-focused goals
Support an individual learner on a 1:1 basis and within a group setting
Working in collaborative partnership with parents and other professionals to facilitate the building of skills for our learners
Participate in clinical team meetings (including some training opportunities)
Delivery of training workshops on a range of topics related to ASD
Training of Speech Graduates as well as junior/senior behavioral therapists working with clients of ABAlink

Educational
Minimum 3-5 years of pediatric Speech-Language Pathology experience with any of these accreditations below
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) – Certificate of Clinical Competence– Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) – Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (S-LP(C))
Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists (RCSLT) – Certified Member (Cert MRCSLT)
Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT) – Full Member
New Zealand Speech-Language Therapists’ Association (NZSTA) – Full Member
Skills and Experience
The ability to create Individualized goals
Writing and submitting reports to funding agencies
Have experience working with children and young adults with a disability or autism
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing Professional Development
