FlexCare is hiring experienced SLP-CCCs with AAC expertise for full-time contract opportunities in San Lorenzo, California for the 2026–2027 school year. In this specialized role, you'll support students across the district by providing AAC evaluations and consultations while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve communication outcomes.
Assignment Highlights
Earn $3,768 per week ($52.10/hour)
2026–2027 school year
37.5-hour work week
Two full-time openings available
District-wide AAC Specialist role supporting students across all grade levels
Primarily evaluation and consultation-based with minimal direct therapy

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Qualifications & Requirements
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license required
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
Experience working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices required
Pediatric experience required
School-based experience preferred
Experience conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing speech and language services
Knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff
Comfortable working across multiple school sites throughout the district
Must meet all credentialing, background check, fingerprinting, and district onboarding requirements
