Over the past decade, the evolution of distance learning technology and the widespread availability of affordable, high-quality video conferencing solutions has allowed for the growth of telepractice service delivery models in Speech-Language Pathology. Increasingly, practitioners are developing telepractice programs to serve a range of communication delays and disorders in both children and adults. This course will discuss getting started in telepractice, the technology that is needed, the challenges to sustain a program, and examples of successful outcomes.
