This is Part 5 of a week-long series, An Update on Dysphagia Assessment and Treatment: How to Do It and Why. Many patients with dysphagia have complex medical, social and emotional issues which require not only an advanced level of clinical skill and expertise, but also an advanced level of ethical reasoning skills. In this course the core principles of bioethics will be reviewed and strategies for integrating ethical reasoning into clinical practice will be discussed. This course is open captioned.
