Useful course for a number of members in the profession. The vocalization practice kinda got on my nerves. Could that be reduced, possibly? Simple, basic takes the apprehension out of teaching voice changes. A subject many can use. Thanks.

There were practical demonstrations of various techniques used in voice therapy. I wish that the presenter would have spent a little less time demonstrating the relaxation and massage techniques in the first half of the presentation, and more time discussing the material in some of the slides in the second half of the presentation, such as the slide with the heading "Flexibility" which had information on the rationale for the use of SOVTEs.

I liked how many bases she was able to cover in terms of the treatment of voice in this one hour session. She did a great job of quickly demonstrating technique and effectively so. I like that she added in the manual therapy, which is something I’ve been doing for years and get great results with and have a few things I would do a little differently, but mostly I liked what she showed. There were some suggestions in the flexibility section and resonance section I look forward to using.

This course delivered what it promised. Wonderfully organized. It was very helpful to see, hear, and practice the different therapy techniques. Although I rarely work with voice patients (bilingual SLP, working in the CA schools) my own voice is tired and needs tender loving care so that I can work without pain.

This presenter did a great job of demonstrating a variety of techniques. In a short amount of time she provided more applicable information and techniques than my college voice classes. Because my background in this area is weak, I probably could have used a little more time on some of the slides with lots of text. Still, this course made me realize I do have some knowledge in this area and will encourage me to keep learning.
