Stacey L. Pavelko, PhD, is an assistant professor and Undergraduate Program Director in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at James Madison University. Her research interests include language and literacy development in preschool and early school-aged children, high-quality professional development for preschool teachers, the diagnostic accuracy of screening and diagnostic measures, functional language assessment and treatment, and interprofessional education and practice.
