Jill Burress, M.S., CCC-SLP, Nationally Certified Interpreter for the Deaf (NIC), is Senior Lecturer and Director of the ASL-English Interpretation Program at RIT’s NTID. With more than two decades of experience as a communication access professional, she leverages her dual credentials in speech-language pathology and sign language interpreting to foster inclusive communication pathways for Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. Jill teaches courses in ASL-English Interpreting and Cued Speech and is committed to bridging the disciplines of audiology, speech-language pathology, and deaf-education to promote equitable access, empower independence, and advance best practices in educational settings.
