This Back to Basics course will discuss assessment procedures needed to complete a functional assessment of common dysphonias. Special emphasis will be placed on streamlining voice disorder assessment protocols to the minimal perceptual, acoustic, aerodynamic and self-evaluation techniques needed to perform a comprehensive, yet time-efficient, voice evaluation.

This course will provide an overview of assessment and management of auditory processing disorders (APD) in children. Interdisciplinary aspects of working with school-age children will be highlighted.

This is Part 2 of a two-part series. This course will focus on purposes for and ways to use Montessori-based interventions in elder and dementia care. Specific examples, goals, and case studies will be discussed for easy integration into clinical work. (Part 1 - Course 9312)
