| School Therapy Career Vision Scholarships Progressus Therapy Progressus Therapy is keenly aware of the impact the critical shortage of school-based speech-language pathologists is having on children with disabilities. Children are going without services and some school districts are compromising the quality of services. Progressus Therapy is committed to changing the course of the critical shortage of school-based SLPs by encouraging speech-language pathology graduate students to select the school setting as their primary place of employment. To demonstrate our commitment, we are offering $3,000.00 School Therapy Career Vision Scholarships to high performing speech-language pathology master’s level students who plan to work in the schools after they graduate. Three scholarships will be awarded; one per term to students graduating in spring 2006, summer 2006, and winter 2006. The scholarship will be awarded to support the student’s final quarter/semester prior to graduation. Scholarship funding is to be applied toward educational expenses including tuition, books, clinical materials, and school living expenses. Eligibility Candidates must be enrolled for full time study in an accredited master’s degree program and expect to complete their master’s degree program before December 31, 2006 to be eligible.Candidates may only apply for a scholarship for their final quarter/semester prior to completion of their program.
