Dr. Susan Hendler Lederer received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from New York University in 1981 and 1996, respectively. After working as a speech-language pathologist with preschoolers and school-aged children, Dr. Lederer joined the faculty at Adelphi University in Garden City, LI, NY in 1997. Currently, she is an Associate Professor and Chair in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Disorders courses involve client studies chosen to provide students with opportunities to practice applying what they have learned.
