Course Abstract

For SLPs who work with aging individuals, treatment of voice disorders can be complicated by differentiating between voice changes that occur as part of the normal aging process and voice disorders which can accompany aging. This presentation covers information regarding the normal vs. the disordered aging voice as well as treatment techniques that can be used to strengthen and enhance the voice of the aging person.
