The instructor made odd jokes, provided some personal anecdotes but did not follow up with a take-away from her experiences, used fillers such as like, um, uh frequently which made her appeared unprepared and not knowledgable on the topic.

Perhaps the instructor talked about information that was on the assessment in the video or audio based course, but the majority of answers to the assessment were not to be found via the text based course (i.e. the information asked about in the assessment was not in the powerpoint). Luckily, a lot of the questions were just common sense. However, had the questions been more difficult, it would have been unfair that the answers were not in the power point.

-First eight or so minutes were all questions, no pertinent information shared-For a course about sensitivity, lecturer was not sensitive...she was the only person of "normal height" at the funeral of a little person-Did not answer the majority of the questions posed to her by audience members

I found it difficult to follow the presenter's train of thought, especially when she took questions in the middle of speaking. It felt very disjointed. The information was good, but I feel that too much emphasis was placed on the supervisee being the person of color, when in fact it is quite often the supervisor who is the person of color. The issue of multiculturalism should be addressed from all perspectives.

It was an area that as a supervisor of older age having to learn about various cultures since I grew up in a very white community for first 30 years and now my next 30 years in a very diverse cultural area in CA was very well good for me to place as an important part of supervisor role. It will help to understand how some problems can be related to not being knowledgeable and needing to keep the lines of communication open to learn. To validate why some people have certain true feelings in these areas from when they were young.
