That’s impossible! Often times when treating teens and adults who stutter, it is easy to feel this way. The following will be discussed: the role of counseling in stuttering therapy, designing an effective treatment plan and techniques for helping teens and adults who stutter with employment. By the conclusion of the course, participants will be empowered with ideas that will help them see the many possibilities for teens and adults who stutter!

The whole course was just so positive and I loved how it focused more on stuttering modification, looking at the whole person. It also was nice to here about the counseling part as well. I work at an elementary school and a high school. My teenagers really do need the counseling when it comes to their stuttering and it really is about building a relationship with them first (gaining their trust) before teaching strategies etc. Thank you for this wonderful learning experience!!!
