Course: #4996Level: Intermediate 1 Hour 64 Reviews

Students with speech sound disorders represent the largest proportion of most public school caseloads, and, in some cases, can present significant long-term challenges in remediation. Effective, efficient, and evidence-based practices for students with severe phonological disorders at an early age implemented alongside response-to-intervention for students with less severe speech sound disorders has the potential to move students more quickly to speech competence. This course will discuss effective caseload management and therapy strategies for the continuum of speech sound disorders, with the goal of all students reaching full mastery of the speech sound system as early as possible during elementary school.
