I have seen and read of the benefits of AAT. I work with some autistic children. I have a very calm Standard Poodle that loves everyone. I have thought of using her with these children. This article has given me confidence and I will further investigate the feasibility of using Quincey in some tx sessions.

I really admire this therapist for including her Rottweiler into her sessions. This breed usually has a bad reputation for behaviors and was glad to see a positive spin. I loved seeing how a therapy dog could be used to improve communication skills. As an animal lover this is something to really consider using in a practice.
