This two-hour seminar will present an overview of the Marshalla Oral Sensorimotor Test (MOST). The author will give an overview of the background, purpose, design, clients, and setting of the exam, and she will discuss the administration of the exam and its scoring procedures. Case studies will be reviewed at key points throughout.

Course Objectives
  • As a result of this Continuing Education Activity, readers will be able to discuss the purpose, design, clients, and setting for administration of the MOST.

  • As a result of this Continuing Education Activity, readers will be able to use the MOST to measure the quantity and quality or oral sensorimotor skills in clients with expressive speech impairment

  • As a result of this Continuing Education Activity, readers will be able to describe the purpose of the five basic sections of the MOST.

  • As a result of this Continuing Education Activity, readers will be able to administer the items within each section of the MOST.
