Troubleshooting Login Problems

In order to use certain features of our site, cookies are used to set your login session and remember you upon return. If you are blocking cookies or use an Internet security/privacy program that blocks first party cookies, you may not be able to login. You may unblock cookies by following the appropriate instructions below. If you are using a web browser or an Internet security/privacy program not listed below please consult it's documentation for instructions for unblocking (first party) cookies.

If you are still unable to login after trying the instructions below:
  • Ensure your computer has the latest security patches and operating system updates by visiting the Windows Update website.
  • Contact your security sofwtare vendor to ensure your computer is allowed to set first-party cookies correctly.
How to Enable First-Party Cookies in Your Browser and Security Sofwtare:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x, 7.x
1. On the menu bar click on "Tools" then "Internet Options."
2. From Internet Options, select the "Security" tab.
3. Click Custom Level.
4. Scroll down to "Scripting," make sure "Active Scripting" is set to Enable.
5. Click "OK."
6. Click "Yes" or "OK" when asked, "Are sure you wish to change the security settings for this zone."
7. Click the "Privacy Tab."
8. Click the "Advanced..." button in the Settings heading.
9. Check "Override automatic cookie handling."
10. Click "Accept" under First-part Cookies.
11. Click "Block" under Third-party Cookies.
12. Click "Always allow session cookies."
13. Click "OK."
14. Click "OK" on the Internet Properties window.
15. Close all open Internet Explorer windows and then relaunch Internet Explorer.
If you continue to have problems, try restarting your computer and then try again.

McAfee Privacy Service
1. Right-click the red "M" icon by your system clock.
2. Click "Privacy Service."
3. Click "Options."
4. The McAfee Privacy Service window appears. Click the "Cookies" tab.
5. Enter each website address from which you would like to allow cookies.
6. Click "Add."
7. Once completed, close the window.

Norton Personal Firewall
1. Open NIS.
2. Click Options.
3. Click Internet Security (or Personal Firewall).
4. Click Advanced Options.
5. Click the Web tab.
6. Click Add Site. A new site/domain box appears.
7. Enter our website’s URL as the site that you want to receive the referrer information and click OK.
8. That site name appears in the left frame of the Advanced Options window.
9. Click the name of the new site.
10. Click the Privacy tab.
11. Check the "Use these rules for..." box.
12. Change the Referrer from "Block" to "Allow."
13. Click Apply, and then click OK.
14. Click OK to close the Options window.
If you wish to disable all filtering: Click on custom settings and make sure enable privacy is checked. Then click on the Custom Level tab. Under Confidential settings select medium. Under Cookie Blocking select None:Allow Cookies. Do not place a check mark next to Enable Browser Privacy. Place a check mark next to Enable Secure Connections (https). Click OK and you're all set.

Zone Alarm Pro
1. Open Zone Alarm Pro by double clicking on its icon in the system tray.
2. Click on "Privacy."
3. Slide the "Cookie Control to Off."

America Online Web Browser
1. On the AOL Settings menu, click "Preferences."
2. On the "My AOL Preferences" window, click "Internet Properties (WWW)".
3. On the Internet Options window, click the "Security tab," and then click "Custom Level."
4. In the Settings list, scroll down until you see the word "Cookies."
5. Click the button next to the word "Enable"
6. Click "OK."
7. You may have to quit and restart you AOL software for these settings to go into effect.
